Do you Travel?
I sure do, when my schedule allows! I'm local to Wagener, SC but will gladly make arrangements to travel to you. For sessions, I typically limit travel to up to 1 hour one way; anything over that incurs a mileage/travel fee. For weddings, travel under 2 hours one way is included with your package. I am available for wedding and elopement travel in SC, NC, and GA and beyond.
What's your experience level like?
I've been behind the camera for right at ten years now! Hard to believe it, but I've been learning and growing this business through many stages of life - college, marriage, motherhood, all the good stuff. In addition to experience, I have also earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Photography and Graphic Design.
How many photos do we get?
For my hour long sessions, you'll receive anywhere from 60-80 images. The final count depends on several factors, but there will be a minimum of 60 images. Minis yield galleries of a minimum of 20 images. On average, weddings galleries yield around 50 images per hour of coverage, sometimes more.
How do we get our photos?
Once completed, your retouched images will be uploaded to a secure online gallery system and you'll receive the link to your photos via email. From this gallery, you'll be able to directly order prints or download the images and print at a company of your choice.
Do you retouch photos?
I do retouch my photos, yes! I have a signature editing style that I follow (with a few deviations, when artistic license applies). I edit temporary blemishes out as well.
Whats your turn around time?
Session galleries are typically sent out within 2 weeks of your session date. Wedding galleries are typically sent out within 4-6 weeks of your wedding date, depending on the time of year. (Spring and Fall are incredibly busy for us photographers!)
How do we book you?
To book, navigate to the package you're interested in (on each main page of this site: Families, Lovers, Boudoir." Links to view appointment times or contact me directly via message are available to you. A signed contract and non-refundable retainer are due to secure your date, and be advised that even if we have chatted via text/messenger about a date, you are not considered booked until these items are completed. Dates that are not booked remain available on my calendar for other clients to choose and book.
Can you help us with planning?
Yes of course! And I actually insist that you let me help. ;) I know what wardrobe choices are best, and can offer advice and options on where we should do your session that will fit with your vision for your gallery.
How far out do you book?
I allow bookings for sessions up to 4 months in advance, and weddings I book up to a year in advance.
How should we prepare for our session?
I'll be with you every step of the way! Once booked, I will send suggestions and ideas for wardrobe, location, and possible props/concepts we should work into your session. I'll also send over some prep materials with notes about what to bring the day of the session and how to prepare little ones for the session.
What should we wear?
Neutrals and earthy tones always, always, always photograph best, but if you want a stronger pop of color, more muted jewel tones can also work. The key to wardrobe is to have all the textures and colors "go" rather than "match" - but don't worry, I'll walk you through it all!
