Meet Kati

Hi! I'm Kati,

and a few titles I'm proud to have in this life are: mother, wife, creative, photographer, bookworm, writer, dreamer, and friend. I've been behind the camera for 10 years, and I earned my BFA in Digital Photography and Graphic Design in May of 2017. Some of the most beautiful relationships I've been blessed with have come as a result of this incredible career. The connections I make with people, the way I get to follow their lives and families as they grow, as they adventure, is at the heart of why I do this. The beautiful photos we make are just the icing on the cake.

My biggest source of inspiration comes from my own family and being present in every moment I can be. Becoming a mom has changed how I view family interactions and I know which sweet, in-between moments to look for because I have also felt dimpled hands on my cheeks and seen golden sunlight shining through my baby's whispy hair.

I'm a huge fan of love (ALL kinds <3) and the thing that makes my heart sing is to tell the story of your love, whatever stage you're in and in whatever form that love takes. Working with clients who are open to intimacy and really care about the mood we are creating for their session is my favorite. There is connection and heart to be documented in every genre I photograph, and my goal is to design a session space and concept that will set the stage for these moments.
